Health Aspects of Green Tea
Green Tea is *full of antioxidants and special nutrients that have powerful effects on your body having been found in studies to boost energy, promote mental clarity, stimulate circulation, assist in digestion, and be beneficial to blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol levels and fat cells – ancient civilizations have consumed tea since 2737 b.c.
In the case of Matcha, the amino acid, L-theanine is elevated, and has been shown to affect brain functions by relieving stress, improving mood and sleep among other benefits. Tea is kind of unique in that L-theanine is only found in tea leaves and a rare mushroom (that you probably wouldn’t want to eat).
